Job Summary The Strategic Key Account Manager will play a crucial role in accelerating the adoption and growth of the Blood Bank Automation System across existing and emerging markets. This position involves identifying high-potential opportunities, analyzing market dynamics, and formulating strategies to strengthen the company’s market footprint. The ideal candidate will utilize their deep expertise within blood banking to align product offerings with market needs, cultivate strong customer relationships, and execute initiatives that reinforce the company’s leadership in blood bank automation.

 

Market Analysis & Strategy:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, growth potential, and customer requirements.
  • Assess competitive landscapes and recommend strategic actions to enhance market positioning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute market entry and expansion plans.

Business Development:

  • Identify and nurture new business opportunities within target markets.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with distributors, healthcare institutions, and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop business cases and financial models to support market expansion initiatives.

Go-To-Market Execution:

  • Partner with marketing and product teams to develop and implement go-to-market strategies for product launches and automation solutions.
  • Create persuasive presentations, proposals, and business cases for internal and external stakeholders to align on market strategy.
  • Track product adoption, customer satisfaction, and market performance, using insights to refine strategies and enhance product offerings.

Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Engagement:

  • Develop and sustain relationships with key industry leaders, clinicians, and healthcare professionals.
  • Utilize KOL insights to enhance market strategies and product offerings.
  • Coordinate collaborations with KOLs for clinical studies, product validation, and market feedback.

 

Performance Measurement & Reporting:

  • Establish, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of market expansion efforts.
  • Deliver actionable insights to senior management through reports on market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and adherence to company policies in all market expansion activities.

 

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of seven years of sales or business development experience.
  • Experience in the Blood Banking Industry with specialized knowledge of blood processing is essential.
  • Demonstrated success in market expansion and revenue growth initiatives.
  • Additional language skills are a plus.
  • Ability to travel across EMEA
