  • Technical Service:
  • Install, maintain, and repair equipment following established quality standards and procedures.
  • Provide first-line technical troubleshooting and resolve operational issues.
  • Manage service contracts, ensuring timely renewals and accurate invoicing.
  • Communicate findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Customer Implementation:
  • Lead on-site system implementations and deliver tailored training programs.
  • Develop and update operator manuals, ensuring seamless customer support.
  • General Duties:
  • Independently plan and coordinate on-site and remote activities.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and activity reports.
  • Support pre-sales technical discussions and contribute to service business growth.
  Qualifications:
  • Education & Experience:
  • University degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics) or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years).
  • Proven background in IT Infrastructure, Networking, and systems integration.
  • Minimum of 2 years as a Service Engineer, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Fluent German and business proficient English.

Position: Global Strategic Supply Chain Lead, Indirect Procurement Location: Belgium A leading global organization is seeking an experienced professional for its Supply Chain Procurement function. This role focuses on indirect procurement, specializing in third-party logistics, warehousing, fulfillment, and freight management across all modes. The selected candidate will drive strategic sourcing initiatives, optimize cost efficiencies, and enhance supplier performance while ensuring alignment with business objectives. Key Responsibilities
  • Implement strategic procurement and sourcing initiatives to enhance supplier quality, cost-effectiveness, service levels, and risk management.
  • Develop and execute RFX processes, supplier selection criteria, and negotiations in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct freight tenders for ocean and air shipments utilizing industry-leading tools.
  • Perform spend analysis, market assessments, and supplier evaluations to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure compliance with financial, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive supplier performance management, mitigating risks and optimizing total category spend.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management within a multinational environment.
  • Proven track record in managing indirect procurement categories, particularly in logistics and supply chain services.
  • Strong expertise in contract negotiation, supplier management, and strategic sourcing.
  • Deep understanding of freight and logistics industries, with experience handling RFx processes.
  • Relevant certifications such as CPSM, CPM, CPP, or CPIM are preferred but not mandatory.

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, growth potential, and customer requirements.
  • Assess competitive landscapes and recommend strategic actions to enhance market positioning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute market entry and expansion plans.
Business Development:
  • Identify and nurture new business opportunities within target markets.

  Minimum Qualification Requirements:

  • Minimum of seven years of sales or business development experience.
  • Experience in the Blood Banking Industry with specialized knowledge of blood processing is essential.
